Bosch BCC102 - Thermostat does not update until I open the Alexa App on my phone #161

Describe Your Problem: I'm new to homebridge... When I check the thermostat in homebridge, the values are incorrect. They do update if I open my Alexa app on my phone - initially, the Alexa app shows the same values as homebridge, but, then, they update. I'm guessing there is some sort of call from Alexa to Bosch that gets triggered to refresh the info? Is there some trigger in this plugin to affect the same update? Or, is this normal and I have to have some Alexa app always up and running to refresh the values? or, am I missing something all together?

@pureslash That is not typical behavior, this plugin attempts to replicate what the Alexa app is doing when the values are updated. Each smart device manufacturer that wants to support Alexa has to write an Alexa skill that allows you to link devices. Since none of that code is public and I do not own a Bosch thermostat, I can only guess that the Bosch Alexa skill behaves differently. Depending on your willingness to troubleshoot the issue, I could give you a few pointers on how to investigate the issue but it requires technical skills.

Sounds good. I have 8 of these in my house... so.. it would be great to get them happy rather than replacing!
