backlight not working #101

Which board (stock / gruvin9x / sky9x / Taranis) are you using?
stock 9xr
What is your openTx FW version?
2688
What is your openTx EEPROM version?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.reprogram with latest firmware
2.no backlight control
3.reprogram with old firmware 24xx, backlight ok

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see no backlight, it stays off
Please provide any additional information below.
backlight works on 9x with m128 on board and sound card but not on stock 9xr 
with m128 on board. I do not know where the problem is , it could be something 
I did.

Be sure not to flash the same FW as you use on the other radio - VOICE option 
on a radio without sound module will result in the backlight not working.

Sorry to bother you, the problem was a bad usb device that only programs 9x and 
not the 9xr. (I bought 3 from hobbyking in case they gave trouble)Just a note 
here. I am using stock 9x board with m128 and megasound board all connected 
together. Little to no errors on programming 9x eeprom or flash but was having 
the occasional error programming the 9xr. After changing to another programmer 
the errors went away. The 9xr is stock hardware with the resistors added for 
buttons and the FrSky telemetering mod.
