Selecting models could be much easier #67

Changing the currently active model is probably the single most common 
operation performed on the radio yet it currently requires a very long and slow 
(long press) sequence of buttons to perform.

Currently to change models one has to:
1. Press Menu
2. Select model
3. Long press Enter
4. Press Enter to select
5. Press Exit

This could be changed to:
1. Short press Menu
2. Select model
3. Short press Enter

At which point the model is selected and the main screen is active. 

The other actions would still be available but now the most common operation is 
quick and simple.

Sorry, I meant to mention I am talking about the usage pattern on the Taranis.  
I'm not sure if it's the same on other radios.

[MENU short] is already used for highlighting a model in the list!

Hmm, then maybe this should be turned in to a bug report because MENU short or 
long does not work for me. I tried r2647 and r2660 on the Taranis.  I go the 
Model Selection screen, select the model and press MENU, nothing happens.  ?

As far as I can tell [ENTER short] highlights the current line but it does not 
Select the model it and make it active with the asterisk on it.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, to make it active requires [ENTER long] then 
[Select Model] then [ENTER short], at which point it's active and starred *.

[ENTER short] highlights the current line to allow copy/move of this line.

Changing model should be easy but not fast and operated by mistake!

I just miss how it works in er9x because it is very easy to switch models with 
few button presses.  Maybe I switch models more than normal people.

But I understand the problem with switching too easy so I think it will be OK 
like it is.
