Shorthands get confused after `$$` code blocks

If there is a codeblock with enclosed \$ signs without anything in between, it will apply shorthands on the rest of the file going down

• Only applies to the cases where there is nothing in between the \$, e.g. `$a$` won't bug
• Only bugs the file past the `$$`, e.g. typing on the line above it will not be affected
