Turn off autopairing of _

In Obsidian, when typing the underscore symbol _, it automatically gets paired with another one. This is very incovenient when you are in math mode.

There are situations in which the behaviour is as desired, for example, when you want to add a subscript to a variable: $x_i$.

There are also situations in which the behaviour is not as desired, for example when typing \mathcal{X}_i

Would it be possible to turn off this functionality via your plugin?

Came here to suggest the exact same feature. I don't know wether this is possible to implement, as this is native Obsidian behaviour though? Would be a very useful addition.

Elaborating on this:

• the core obsidian editor setting "Auto Pair Brackets" causes '', `, and "" to pair while in latex mode. This is not really desirable, particularly for'` used as a "prime".
  • the Obsidian setting also applies to [], (), {} in regular Obsidian, but the auto pair settings in this plugin appear to override this in LateX mode.
• same for the core obsidian setting "Auto Pair Markdown Syntax" w.r.t. __ and **. These definitely shouldn't pair in LateX mode.
