CalDav task status and deleted tasks are not updated #2915

Open q-wertz opened 7 months ago

q-wertz commented 7 months ago

Your Environment

Expected Behavior

When finishing a task in my caldav server and having checked Automatically poll imported tasks for changes in Super Productivity a task should be marked finished and go to the Completed Tasks section when I complete it in another client (Thunderbird, etc).

A deleted task on the CalDav server should also be deleted in Super Productivity.

Current Behavior

The tasks stays in the backlog/upcoming task area. Only things like the description field are updated.

(the other way round, finishing a task in Super Productivity which then is also shown completed on the CalDav Server works fine)

Deleted Tasks are also kept in Super Productivity

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Create a new task in the CalDav server
  2. Wait till it is "synced" by Super Productivity and appears in the backlog
  3. Mark it as completed in another CalDav client (e.g. Thunderbird)
  4. Super Productivity will keep the task (also when the task is deleted via another CalDav client)

Can you reproduce this reliably?

Can be reproduced easily

Console Output

Error Log (Desktop only)

No error log.

Thank you very much for opening up this issue! I am currently a bit overwhelmed by the many requests that arrive each week, so please forgive me, if I fail to respond personally. I am still very likely to at least skim read your request and I'll probably try to fix all (real) bugs if possible and I will likely review every single PR being made (please, give me a heads up if you intent to do so) and I will try to work on popular requests (please upvote via thumbs up on the original issue) whenever possible, but trying to respond to every single issue over the last years has been kind of draining and I need to adjust my approach for this project to remain fun for me and to make any progress with actually coding new stuff. Thanks for your understanding!
