Unfocusing when `ctrl`+`Space` #3392

Your Environment

Expected Behavior

Keep the focus when I hit ctrl+space in any input field

Current Behavior

It unfocuses everytime I hit ctrl+space resulting unintended shortcut invoke

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Click any input field on the web version
  2. Hit ctrl+space

Can you reproduce this reliably?

Yes

Console Output

Nothing

Error Log (Desktop only)

Not tested in Desktop ver.

Note

ctrl+space sequence is common in Japanese Linux users to switch the input method between English alphabet and Japanese ones. This causes like if I want to type docker 環境を v27 にアップデートする (Update docker environment to v27) it unfocuses and erase what I typed for 4 times.

Can you post some screenshots/videos to show what is exactly happening on your end? (on my end, ctrl + a seems to be working correctly)

Problemet her er tastatursnarveien ctrl+space som bytter mellom inndatakilder under gnome/ubuntu. Jeg kan ikke byter det. Hvor kan jeg vise "legg til mer" som funker?

This behavior was fixed in snap version right before 10. I can not remember the exact version, maybe around 2060. I wonder why it was reverted back to the old "buggy" behavior?

I am unable to reproduce this with neither chrome or firefox.
