Add option to finish day flexibly #3441

Problem Statement

I frequently forget to "finish the day" in time. The next day I then come to a task list that contains a bunch of completed tasks from the previous day. If I then click "finish day", the summary is empty (which makes sense because on that day I have just started up the program). However, I would like to be able to still do a regular "finish day" review.

Have an option in the settings to "carry over completed tasks and statistics until finishing day".

Well, it is really quite a minor quibble so the alternative is to remember to finish the day!
