PET scatter effects need to be simulated, which is a bit parameter file wise. It needs to be wrapped into SIRF from STIR before I can incorporate it.

The scatter effects could either be (enable both)

updated from motion state to motion state
be calculated on the motion-average data

The second one is an option since the scatter simulation is time consuming.
