Given
you have a content dimension "language" with values "all", "de", "en". The latter two have a fallback to "all".
there is a teaser element with child nodes in a content collection
the child nodes have variants in "de" and "en"
Problem
Moving the teaser element (which has no variants itself) to another node in "all" (another column in a multicolumn element), results in the translated content disappearing from the frontend output. This is because the "parent" elements are moved, but not the children in the variants. See the attached screenshot.
Solution
We must move all variants together, including children, if there is a fallback in place.
Question
Is that the solution? What else need to be considered?
