Pan and Zoom mermaid diagrams?

Is it possible to implement a pan and zoom with something like this? https://github.com/bumbu/svg-pan-zoom

Our diagrams our quite large

Sounds like a great idea, there is already some discussion here https://github.com/mermaid-js/mermaid/issues/1860, but it doesn't seem to be supported by mermaid out of the box.

I guess providing the ability in the plugin, before mermaid supports it natively, would work.
