To make the project platform independet, several tasks are necessary

use CMake to make it easy to use on Windows/Linux/macOS, see also #3 and #4
use a platform independent GUI framework (e.g. www.qt.io) to avoid Windows-only MFC
replace MFC classes with standard libary
