Changing the instrumentation to "Drumset" (and most certainly the other instruments from the groups "Percussion - Unpitched" and "Percussion - Body") is working only in terms of instrument names, but not in terms of playback. The reason is that MuseScore has a special StaffType for these.
This screenshot shows the difference between a score updated to "Drumset" with the current version (on the left) and then that same score but with the instrument set to "Drumset" in MuseScore 3 (leaving out all irrelevant changes that can be ignored):
The changes include:
For all included Staff tags:
attribute group of StaffType => "percussion"
StaffType/name => "perc5Line"<= this, however, can also be a different value, depending on the percussion instrument
defaultClef => "PERC"<= needs to be inserted when missing
