ant+ connectivity issues #7

skorbuly commented 6 years ago

hi John, I dropped the log.txt to zwiftalizer and this is the result: zwiftalizer

ant+ signal is strong but always disconnects and reconnects.

paha77 commented 6 years ago

I can confirm what @skorbuly experiences. I'm having the same results. I don't know if the reconnects and disconnects are normal.

(I was just simulating the trainer with --simulate-trainer)

Thanks both - just pushing a fix through on this now. It's to do with the ANT stick buffering data

skorbuly commented 6 years ago

hi John, did you solved this? should I have to download the package again? thanks

john-38787364 commented 6 years ago

Not yet - I'm going to look at the ant device set up today.

I seem to have the same issues with Tacx Fortius and T1932 head unit in Windows 10 x64. Conitunuously flipping between connected and not connected. As a result (I assume) speed and power readings in Zwift are extremely low.

After having a look with Zwiftalyzer I think my issues are different. The disconnect seems to be caused by the trainer not returning any data, not by the ANT+ connection being dropped.
