Adapter 3 - No WiFi connection when connecting the board #57

Bought an Adapter 3 with Wi-Fi module. The Wemos was configured with my home Wi-Fi and works perfectly fine if unplugged from the eBus board. It connects in just few seconds and I can access the WebUi easily.

However, as soon as I attach the Wemos on the eBus board, it boots but struggle to connect to the Wi-Fi. The blue led on the wemos stop flashing (it should mean everything is fine) but after 1-2 seconds it start slowly flashing again. And it does this forever.

I have configured the pin on the eBus board as per documentation. Can someone help me debugging the issue?

On a side note, if i factory reset the Wemos, i can always connect to the default EBUS Wi-Fi whenever the eBus board is attached or not.

The Wemos is powered directly with a Xiaomi 5V 2.5A phone charger. Thanks.

I'm closing this issue as the problem was with the Wi-Fi signal strength.

For whatever reason, using in the exact same place the Wemos alone worked even with a signal strength of 30%. When connecting the eBus board it seems that the wifi signal get a significant drop. Placing the wemos + eBus board near the router "fixed" the issue.
