Cannot terminate call with physical red button

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make a call
2. Try to end the call by pressing the "End Call" (Red) physical button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Call is disconnected. Instead the screen goes to black and the call 
persists until disconnected with Menu-End Call (or other side hangs up)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Sipdroid 1.0.1, ADP1 Cupcake 1.5 (original)
