Invite codes with trailing spaces produce cryptic error

Expected: Paste an invite code with leading or trailing spaces and it works, welcome to goblin.

Actual: "Something went wrong" error message and code doesn't work.

What to do:

• [ ] Trim whitespace
• [ ] Better error message (if needed)
