Hi, I am really excited about this project, I hope it grows too much to be an important gamer in the fediverse, saying that, here is an issue I haven't found on ANY fediverse platform: Custom domains.
Since a time ago, Tumblr is asking money to connect domains or buying with them (would be nice to buy domains with them but you cannot connect subdomains for diferent blogs, you must buy one for each other), so... UX is being inshitifyed by Automattic (I miss David Karp's times), So I decided to search alternatives to Tumblr but there is no one who offer custom domain ¡Even WriteFreely! ¡¿Can you believe it?!, so I think It could be a nice feature to implement to atract Tumblr users de hueso colorado.
Why here? You're trying to bring the Tumblr. experience to Fediverse, and IMO tumblr experience has 3 pilars:
Custom domains
Custom themes for our websites
Communities, yeah, we're blogs but we have got a social part like twitter (in other words, we're in the halfway from twitter and wordpress).
