Will probably come back to this discussion once we get to final figures and writing, but I think the discussion on this went to a broader exploration of:

  1. selection for aggression in different ecological contexts
  2. population level energy spent in contests (as a proportion of total, tragedy of the commons) as proportion of total population level energy in different ecological contexts
  3. if we get coexistence of different strategies, that's cool, but not the focus of the paper (unlike Wolf papers and Botero et al.)
