I would like to see the Adobe Labs Spry AJAX Framework supported in the
AJAX Libraries API.

I haven't looked for a couple of months, and I don't work for Google, but I
would
point out two major drawbacks for hosting Spry on the GLibs API.

1. Spry is comprised of a multitude of independent JS and CSS files rather than
a
single, nice package. This will make it a pain to maintain from a sysadmin
perspective. But also, since you only load the specific modules you need on your
site/page, it really negates the caching advantages of the CDN.

2. The last I looked, Adobe's Spry site noted that the last update to the
framework
was made in early 2008, and it was considered a beta (unstable) release. This
would
seem to indicate that Spry is no longer actively supported by Adobe (or anyone).

Again, nothing official, but those would be my 2 cents!

The SPRY framework was a mess and is now all but dead. I think it was only ever
used by Adobe themselves and by people hacking together an abomination in
Dreamweaver.
