Self hosted read-it-later plugin for WordPress

Services like Instapaper and Pocket are great, but I want a self-hosted version so I can own my own data.

Wallabag exists, but a lot of the development time and the issues don't relate to the core product, saving content for reading later. Time is spent on the application infrastructure, such as user management, authentication, building admin screens, etc.

This should be built as a WordPress plugin so you get all of that for free, plus the bonus of some neat potential integration with your own website.

Sorry to pop into your ideas repo unannounced - saw it on my activity feed and had a browse. This is a pretty interesting idea. I've always liked services like Pocket but never wanted to actually sign up because it's yet another service to be on and maintain.
