keeps telling me wrong pswrd n won't let me sms backup at all...IMAP is enabled, all settings done as needed.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. pswrd, says wrong pswrd always
2. i reset my pswrd n still didn't work
3. is it the phone?  not supported maybe?  i have a tmobile motorola Cliq.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i want to sms backup.  not even close...won't let me.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
the 1.1 version on Motorola Cliq

I'm having the same issue. Motorola Droid on android 2.1, SMS backup 1.1.1. I 
had 
changed my Google password but changing the password in the app doesn't allow 
backups 
either.

I have the same issue.  Using SMS Backup 1.1.1.  Stopped working after I 
changed my gmail password.  Reinstall doesn't solve the problem.

model: t-mobile G1
firmware version: 1.6

I turned off my wifi and it started working again for some reason.  Although I 
think I tried before when the wifi was already off.  Strange.
