I encountered this bug that said the server may be down or encryption may not match
Reinstalling helped fix it, putting this here in case anyone runs into the same issue and spends time trying some other kvm. I tried Barrier KVM and that didn't work out of the box despite it having 23k github stars.
Unsure what caused the issue, or how to replicate.
It just out of the blue refused to connect to my setup after working flawlessly for 2-4 days.
