Does not Work between 10.11 (El Capitan) Host and 10.9 (Maverick) Slave #35

But the other direction works. So the Network communication works. Also there are no options available for the Slave Machine. Any Idea where to look for a solution?

Hi there! I had the same problem. Enable encryption (Settings -> Security) and everything will work just fine.

Even with encryption it just works in one (the wrong) direction (10.9 controls 10.11). I now try to upgrade the older Mac to 10.11. Hope that helps.

Works now between El Capitan <-> El Capitan.
