Target display mode not working #49

Hi -

Running with macbook pro 13" and iMac 27" on Mojave same version on both. I am using Target Display Mode so that I can use my iMac as the main monitor for my Macbook. however almost every time, i can not get Target Display mode to work , the screen just stays black. when i quit Teleport on both machines Target Display works just fine.

is there some workaround to make this work? If i unplug things, quit Teleport a few times, eventually it works but its a huge hassle. Thx

@denen99 Is this still an issue for you?

If so, I'd recommend updating to either macOS Catalina or Big Sur and trying again with the latest release [v1.2.2[(https://github.com/abyssoft/teleport/releases/tag/v1.2.2).

If it's still an issue after updating, please provide as much detail as you can, including the steps to reproduce the issue.

If you solved the problem or don't really care about it anymore, that's useful info too and I can close this issue.
