Update domain name and publish site

Look at price comparisons and reviews and choose a domain registrar. Then, change settings to publish this site and make the repo public.

Domain is registered, https works and is enforced, but WWW Redirect is working yet. This link might help.

johnfernow.com doesn't show up in Google searches. It may automatically appear eventually, especially if I put it on my GitHub bio, as well as the bios on other accounts of mine, but if I want to speed up the process, I should be able to follow the instructions from here.

Redirecting www.johnfernow.com to https://johnfernow.com seems like it will be no easy task, and it's possible it's not even possible at all using NameSilo (my domain registrar), so I'll create a separate issue for it.

https://johnfernow.com is live and http://johnfernow.com correctly redirects to the secure site. I'll document the steps below:

Create account on NameSilo and purchase the domain name
Set custom domain in settings of this repo to johnfernow.com, which creates and commits a CNAME file
Follow NameSilo's instructions to configure my domain name for GitHub Pages
Wait (it said 5 minutes, but it was more like 15 minutes for me) — then the site became live, but only for http, not https
Wait some more (probably 20 to 30 minutes after setting the configuration) — test to see if https works (and is actually secure), then change settings in repo to force https

And then everything was ready. Closed by commit 003b2de1b348b8bcd38119aa80f42e71a8f7a534
