Getting that where?

Redirections don't suddenly stop working, so something must have happened elsewhere to cause this to happen.

Hello John,

Thanks so much. I can’t pinpoint the exact time when this happened.

Actually, I found out when I received a warning from an SEO software that I have a duplicate pages. Normally, there was already a redirection for such a page but it wasn’t working.

I have disabled cache plugin, wordfence and many other plugins but did not correct the problem.

I cannot figure out what is the cause. The problem is that when I go to the site and click on some redirects they seem to work but with crawlers they aren’t working. Also, when I use the redirect tester that is included with the plugin it show that there is a 403 error

Please try this one

https://www.webblog.tophebergeur.com/vers/xsplit

you can use https://httpstatus.io/ to get more info regarding this redirection

thanks so much

The 403 is caused by something on your site, probably some kind of security setting.

https://www.webblog.tophebergeur.com/vers/xsplit is redirecting fine.

Thank you so much for the follow up.

Should I ignore this error since the redirections are working fine ?

Do you think that it was related to the settings that you’ve suggested me, before, to add in the htaccess .

Thanks

If you are using a URL checker and it is returning 403, but the redirect otherwise works fine it means that your site is blocking the URL checker.
