In _Simple White X_, when a tab is not selected and there is sufficient horizontal space, it will show a gray close icon. That is part of the un-selected tab layout and does not state the close button is disabled. However, if the extension S3.Google.Translator is active that icon may remain dark as for the selected tab. This will be fixed in the next release.
