Is it possible add the functionality to generate material thumbnails? Right now if I try generating a thumbnail for a material it doesn't do anything (the usual uv sphere material thumbnail shows up instead).
The default blender material thumbnail generation has issues. Sometimes I need a close up shot, or even a far away shot with a subdivision / displacement setup. I end up with materials that are hard to tell apart or the thumbnail looks nothing like when I apply them. I'd love to use asset_snapshot to override material thumbnails.
