Ernest Logistics Service started in April of 2009 as a trucking business providing containerized hauling of cargoes for the domestic market but the young businessman has a larger vision and greater determination to expand his business which eventually lead to the launching of its freight management and domestic forwarding services in the very same year. Difficulties and disappointments in starting the business were encountered and eventually were understandable but Jan Ernest Go, the young entrepreneur only showed optimism and relentless determination. His idea was to provide genuine services guided through excellence and dedication further creating solid partnerships and business relations and in March of 2012 the company has emerged and incorporated to become Ernest Logistics Corporation. Our company provides not only freight management and domestic freight forwarding but primarily Options and Solutions custom fit to our clients’ needs and requirements.

User permission does not apply after refresh #219

Steps to replicate:

  1. Login as an a Customer Relations type of user
  2. Login as admin using a different browser.
  3. Using the admin account, edit the user account that was accessed on the other browser.
  4. Tick the 'Customer' checkbox and untick the 'Customer Relations' checkbox.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Refresh the browser wherein the customer relations account was logged in.

Actual result: No change happened on the user's page. The user has to logout then login again to see the changes. Expected result: The page of the customer relations account should no longer display the Booking tab.

Hi @johnpelquingua, regarding this issue, wouldn't it be safer if the user type will be disabled on edit? This is to avoid conflicts in the future. However, the permission checklist should still be available just in case they would want to add more permissions to the user.

I understand what you mean on this however is there any similar programs out there that can change the user type of an account on the fly without the edited account logging out and in to see the changes taking effect?

Yes sir, there are. And one of them is ARMIS.
