Settings aren't persistent #2

When adding settings such as saving username and password, they are by default saved to $XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR,, usually $HOME/Documents. When I tried giving the sandbox access to $XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR, it didn't fix the problem. I also tried setting XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR to a writable location, but that didn't seem to work either.
