note: it may be possible to further clean the code removing all {self.genkernel_arch} related sections, as {self.version} seems to be the only thing needed anyways? I leave that for you to decide.

As it is, I have tested on both gentoo and debian with this PR and it works like a charm. Haven't tried Arch, don't have a current arch install available to test on. I tested using the kernel and initrd generated by "genkernel-next", which is the systemd supported version of gentoo's genkernel.
