v.61 MPEG-4 Files Error out at open

When opening a file saved in MPEG-4 with version .61 of Tivo Tool quicktime
reports an error and is unable to open the file.  

Appears to only happen on Macs with intel processors.

These files also fail to transfer to iTunes properly.

I have the same problem... can't get mpeg4 files to play in any program

Yep, same here on my G5 running Tiger 10.4.9, latest quicktime, all the latest 
OS patches, won't open the 
downloaded mp4's. I get quicktime erroring out saying: Error Opening Movie; The 
movie could not be opened.
