Should work for IW and EW aquisition modes. With SM data there seems to be a problem with the newest SNAP version (on Windows at least). Waiting for an answer here. Also the SRGR node can be removed once this fix is released. I'll keep an eye on this.

Other improvements:

snap.geocode docstring

A small follow-up as there seems to be an issue with the SRGR node in the current workflow. As already mentioned in the initial message, the node can hopefully be removed soon after the next s1tbx update and this issue also resolved.
