dropdown selectors do not render properly on first use #52

1. install plugin for the first time
2. open the dialog, be sure the opacity setting isn't full
3. open the dialog, click one of the four the dropdown arrows (ie. next to
"Find what")

Some strange translucent area shows up.

Using Ubuntu 11.10, Gedit 3.2.3, plugin v 3.3.6.

Once i used one of the fields for a search, this was no longer an issue.

What do you mean 'some strange translucent area shows up'?

It looked like a faint ghost image of my desktop or something, in an area
about 50% the size of the Find window. If it can't be duplicated, maybe
it's an issue with my graphics card or something.

I can't reproduce this.
Does the problem happen at each time you initiate the find dialog?
Or only happened at the first time you enable the plugin?

If so, I don't think it will be a problem.
I will close this issue as invalid.
