Last-column resize problem #120

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
There are no grab points on the right edge of the right-most column header
in the files, peers, and torrents listings. If the other columns become
too wide, it is not possible to shrink the last one to accommodate.
Whatever the width of this last column is (in all three listings) when the
GUI is shut down next, that value is written to the config. On the next
start, the last column's width becomes locked - no amount of fiddling will
resize it. The error accumulates across multiple starts and shutdowns if
any other columns need to be resized again.

Workaround: Make sure all columns are the width you want them before you
close the program. If necessary, exit the GUI, shrink the offending width
value(s) in ~/.config/Transmission Remote GUI/transgui.ini , save the
file, and restart the GUI.

Forgot to mention: This is Ubuntu 9.04 ("Jaunty") with XFCE 4.6.0, using
TransGUI
v1.1 from your official build.
