Is it safe to assume this project has been abandoned?

If so, would you be open to giving others contributor status (or even transferring ownership of the repo)?

@Phrohdoh , I've made a temparary fork of the project here ( https://github.com/david-wizzili/django-faker ) This fork contains fixes for Faker update, Django 2.0 compatibility and Python 3 compatibility.

@david-wizzili: Would you consider opening the issue tracker at your project? I wanted to open an issue to update the README with installation instructions that don't point at this project but it's not possible right now.
