**NOTE** PLEASE PROVIDE A SAMPLE IMAGE THAT REPRODUCES THE PROBLEM. In
order to ensure problems stay fixed, unit tests are generally added.
Please provide an image that demonstrates the issue you are reporting.
Furthermore, please indicate that you are happy to have this image included
in the test data suite.  Do not upload copyright images, though you may
email the developers privately if needed.  Thank you.
