After careful consideration, I still think including a term that was not used at all throughout the DG into the glossary can cause confusion, and is more than a typo or "cosmetic" issue (see image above), hence deserves at least a severity.Low tag.

While I do agree that giving some extra info usually does no harm, this case is different as it defeats the purpose of a glossary where only terms that are commonly used / easily confused for something else are explained / clarified. Furthermore, the downside of adding an unused term in the glossary in this case is that it causes readers to be perplexed as nowhere in the DG was the term 'private contact detail' mentioned, and it causes readers to wonder if they have missed out some part / feature mentioned in the DG and to hence go about looking for the term, only to realise it is not mentioned anywhere (which was what happened in my case).
