N64 MIDI Tool - "Unsupported LZSS_0BSng import" error when importing MIDI to Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, WWF WrestleMania 2000, and the other AKI wrestling games #71
I'm trying to import MIDIs to Virtual Pro Wrestling 2: Oudou Keishou by AKI/Asmik Ace.
I set the instruments to match those in the DLS bank for VPW2, and save as both MIDI Format 1 and MIDI Format 0 (just in case the other doesn't work), then when I try to import the MIDI into VPW2 through N64 MIDI Tool, I get an "Unsupported LZSS_0BSng import" message box.
To make sure it wasn't a one-off, I tried making a simple MIDI of just a short monophonic sequence and importing that.
Same message.
So to make sure I didn't screw it up somehow, I tried to then import it to WWF WrestleMania 2000, also by AKI/Asmik Ace and uses an identical system to VPW2.
Same error.
I then tried to import to the previous-generation game WCW/nWo Revenge (just in case the problem was because of the newer game), but still got the same error message.
Is there something I'm missing to fix the "Unsupported LZSS_0Bsng import" problem?
