unable to change gradient #481

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click and drag "gradient rectangle" from common shapes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Like a standard rectangle I hoped to change the color of the gradient by 
clicking the center "abc" button at the top of the screen and then selecting my 
color. After I do this, however, no change occurs in the shape. There is also 
no place to add two colors for the gradient and adjust the rate of the gradient 
itself.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.3.4 on Firefox 12, Mac OS 10.7.4 (I also tried downloading the mac standalone 
app, with the same results).

Please provide any additional information below.
There is a little yellow box on the left boundary of the shape, maybe this has 
something to do with the gradient? I played with it a bit, but was unable to 
produce any results. Thanks for your help!

Right click the square, then go to "properties" this should show you the 
Start/End colours of the gradient (I just discovered this)
