I'm not able to reproduce this problem.
If the final text written to the debug log really is always something starting
"skype:" this may be a problem with the skype protocol plugin and not
musictracker.
You should try with those accounts disabled and alternatively with musictracker
disabled to test this.
You may find http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/TipsForBugReports contains some
helpful
tips for writing the pidgin debug log to file and obtained a .RPT crash dump.

On reading http://amip.tools-for.net/wiki/manual/configurator, I notice that
this
says that the AMIP "MSN Live Messenger (8.x) compatibility" is only needed for
MSN
Messenger 8.x betas, and not for the final version. This option should not
need to
be turned on when using AMIP with musictrcker (although it should still not
cause it
to crash)

First of all let me say thank you for the great plugin as well as your support
with
everbody's issues!
About "...this may be a problem with the skype protocol plugin...": I have
switched
all protocols on and off and tried many, though not all, permutations of pidgin
protocols/skype preferences/foobar2000 and amip configurations. The problem
seems
only to occur in the case I described. If you care to look into this deeper, I
can
send you my amip configuration files, though, as already stated, this is not
really a
major issue for me, aand also it is already solved in a way.
I have btw experienced a similar thing with openPandora and musictracker both
trying
to set the skype status concurrently, resulting in openPandora to freeze.
Switching
the openPandora plugin off and letting the "Send Songs Info To Messenger"
plugin take
care of setting the pidgin status solves the problem.

Crash bugs always need investigating :-).
If you can provide a full debug log and the .rpt file by following the
instructions
at http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/TipsForBugReports, that would be great.

There you go.
Another thing, probabaly not worth opening another ticket: I think that %p and
%t
should be vice versa; this at least seems to apply to foobar and openPandora
output.

Thanks. Interesting. I think I may have fixed your crash bug with a change in
0.4.18, without realizing it was a crash bug. Can you try with that version,
please?
Always raise a separate ticket for separate issues! However, I've also done
some
work in 0.4.18 to address the %p/%t reversal when coming from WM_COPYDATA
messages,
so perhaps you could see if updating fixes that as well :-)

I'm assuming this crash problem was resolved with changes in the 0.4.18
release. If
that wasn't the case, please re-open this issue. If you have other problems,
please
open a new issue.
