Should be possible to integrate Musicbee player ? Its universal swiss knife in 
music library/players. I miss support in Musictracker.

Till it goes in the development process, you can use the musictracker plugin 
with the latest version. You can use the last.fm api option to get a feed from 
the page.

It a little get around till MB takes care of this. Enjoy musicbee with the 
lastfm support and use the last.fm api in pidgin (musictracker plugin)
