What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. apt-get install pidgin and pidgin-musicplayer
2. start pidgin and audacious
3. Enable the musicplayer and mystatusbox plugin
4. Start wireshark
5. Start a song in Audacious

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Mystatusbox should show all protocols with the song, wireshark should show
all protocols updating the server with the status.

My statusbox shows AIM,Yahoo,Jabber,GoogleTalk,ICQ and Yahoo status
changing but not MSN.
Wireshark shows no MSN protocol packets at all.

What version of musictracker are you using? What version of pidgin are you
using? On what operating system?
Bug submitter had musictracker 0.4.12, not sure of his pidgin, Debian Linux
I used 0.4.12 and 0.4.13, pidgin 2.4.3, Debian Linux

What mp3 player are you using?
I used Audacious.

What IM protocol(s) are you using?
AIM,Yahoo,Jabber,GoogleTalk,ICQ and Yahoo, MSN.

Please attach or paste output from pidgin's Help/Debug Window (be careful
to remove any protocol usernames you don't want made public)

Please provide any additional information below.

> pidgin 2.4.3

There's your problem, I think. You need pidgin > 2.5.0 to support status
messages
for MSN.

Yes, it even says "To show now playing in MSN personal messages you must be
using
pidgin 2.5.0 or later" on http://code.google.com/p/pidgin-musictracker/, so it
must
be true :-)

I just notice that on the front page myself, about 20 seconds ago. My problem
is
that 2.5.0 is in experimental in Debian, but that's my problem :(
