Pulling wrong season/show images from TVdb #486

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.(For this example: Kingdom 1&2) season one images show on season 2 and season
1 is some live action show from several years ago that sadly has a similar
title. I've tried making a separate Kingdom season 2 in TVdb and it never
sticks.

2.see screen shot for what I mean

3. This only happened when I turned sync with TVdb back on. I had left it off
and dealt with limited images until now. It had gotten annoying when it
happened to a few other shows as well. But I had hoped maybe it was working
better now.

It does this with a few other shows. Tiger and Bunny finally shows the proper
images, but it had been showing live action stuff too a few months ago. Any
ideas?

Maybe an option to replace the images by "locally overwriting" what is pulled?
If that makes sense or is possible?

Ah, this happens now and then. No big deal actually. You're using jmm desktop
right? Have you tried this:
1. On the Series Info tab of the anime (the one where summary, overview and
whatnot is shown), scroll down till you find [TvDB and Other Non AniDB Links].
2. On the TvDB part, click the Search button. Don't worry if it is already
linked, just click the Search button.
3. Type Kingdom in the search box. It should give you a list of matching
series. Choose [Kingdom (2012)], that's the correct one.
4. Ignore the AniDB part, look at the TvDB part and select season 1 and ep 1.
5. Click update.
6. Voila!
For season 2, just repeat until step4, but this time choose season 2, ep 1.

Tell me if you want snapshots if you still can't figure it out. You can do this
to other animes too if it gets linked incorrectly.

Ah thank you! I will certainly have to give that a try. I hope it works. I'll
give it a go once I manage to get it to see *all* of my collection again and
not just half of it -_-0.

So odd. First the calendar wouldn't sync since Aug (now working again), then
AniDB wouldn't see watched status(also now working again somehow), now JMM D
"forgets" shows and wont see them no matter what I import/sync... The only fix
has been clearing it all and starting over. I've had to do it 3 times now. If
you've any experience with fixing that too you'd be a godsend lol.

Thanks for the help with the images though! I wish I was more help with the
issues you're experiencing T-T
