Get missing data error "Unable to cast object of type..."

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.on Dashboard under Recommendations to Watch 
2. click "get missing data"
3. The following error pops up "Unable to cast object of type  
JMMClient.UserControl.SyncVotesDummy' to type 
'JMMClient.ViewModel.Recommendation.VM'."

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest version of JMM on windows vista 

Please provide any additional information below.

This is new. Only started a yesterday. Was working before that.
