I do understand that the app is made for users to monitor items in their own fridge, but allowing 1 million of each item seems a bit of an exaggeration to the size of an actual fridge.

Team's Response

Not a flaw, quantity was intended to allow for large numbers since some might be in grams or millilitres.

Items for the Tester to Verify

 Issue response

Team chose [response.Rejected]

Reason for disagreement: It cannot be an intentional segment as

  1. putting "g" for grams or "ml" for millilitres is disallowed in the /qty field as they only take in integers.
  2. It was not mentioned anywhere else that this is allowed or limited at the said number.
  3. 1 million millilitres is 1000L. A typical fridge is about half that size of about 500... most conventional fridges used in households are of about 300-400, even the largest ones are at most 600-700, we are excluding industrial sized ones as this is meant for the everyday user.
  4. 1 million grams is also 1000kg, a typical fridge is close to 10 times lighter than that. A typical bull weights close to that weight and i don't think you can fit an entire cut up bull into your typical fridge.

Basically the number 1 million for quantity is not justified at all, no proper calculations were made, and the number is just thrown for the sake of capping the quantity.
