getting in stuck closing editor in tmux #1309

Sometime, when I exit vim (after entering a commit message), instead of going back to tig, vim get stuck waiting for something. If create a new pane in tmux, then it unlock the the original pane which go back to tig.

Has anyone encounter a similar issue ?

I'm afraid nothing can be done within Tig for this issue, it's between vim and tmux.
