This issue was originally open by @leok85 (https://github.com/vuejs-tips/v-money/issues/35) in the old v-money repository.

@eternalcode0 posted a pull request (https://github.com/vuejs-tips/v-money/pull/55) that fixes this issue. But it was never merged.
