The FJ doesn't beep when the lights are left on. There is probably a fuse meant for this indicator. You can check online (2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser) for a map of the fuse box, explaining what each one is. (Add the map in a comment in this issue.)
A set of auto fuses is in the garden shed. They look like this:
Only replace a fuse with another fuse of the same rating, e.g. a 10 Amp fuse must be replaced with a 10 Amp fuse.
